In the other pictures I was surprised to see so many American places to eat. Are you usually daring and try the Japanese or stick with the American cuisine?
I should probably explain - just because it has an American name or "cuisine" like a hamburger does not at all mean it is American cuisine :~) We've never eaten at the Denny's or the Big Boy here (b/c we were warned not to expect American if we went there) and while Tony has eaten at the Mos burger place, he ordered at hot dog because Japanese hamburgers are not your Firehouse kind of hamburger that's for sure. Eating out for us here is NOTHING like in the states. Although, I will say, before coming here Dakota had NEVER eaten at a McDonald's. The McDonald's here is very normal, except for the portion sizes. They still reflect portion sizes from when I was young. (A small drink is the American Happy meal size drink - closer to proper portion size.) We like the Japanese/Chinese noodles and some of the sushi.
